Welcome to York Cottages and Burnley House. Families, couples and groups can cosy up either in one of our self-contained stone and steel cottages, or for a touch more luxury allow yourselves to experience the grace of Burnley House. All come with the creature comforts of home.

See AllSettlers Cottage Settlers Cottage has a sleek look, wrapped in corrugated tin. The front veranda overlooks the main playground area and Katies Kamp. The cottage has two bedrooms - one with a queen bed, the other with a queen plus a separate single bunk. There is a sofa bed available in the living area if required. Settlers comfortabley sleeps 4 adults (6 if you include the sofa bed) and 2 children.Open plan kitchen, dining and living space are warmed by an open fire or cooled by air conditioning. Movable church style pew seating adds character in the dining area. Charming bathroom with separate bath and shower. Separate toilet, washing machine, BBQ Fridge, TV and parking to the side of the CottageBurnley House Historic house built on the early 1900's, comprises of four bedrooms, three bathrooms. The house has been updated over the years, with additions in keeping with the character of the home such as timber floors, ornate ceilings and decorative trinkets.There are two living spaces - the main open-plan living and dining area with pot belly fire and breakfast bar into timber kitchen: plus a private lounge/theater room at the front of the property. Verandas surround this majestic old home to allow you to ponder ponder over the flowers, trees, view and grassed area with private playground and give you the feeling of old world luxury.The house has an outdoor pool for your exclusive use. Burnley House comfortably sleeps 8.Pendle Cottage Pendle Cottage is a delightful stone Cottage with an electric mix of ornate couches and a bright turquoise kitchen that overlooks the Alpaca paddock.Comprises of two bedrooms- each bedroom has a queen bed, with the option of additional roll out beds if required. Comfortabley sleeps 4 adults, or 2 adults and childrenTimber and corrugated steel bathroom with bath and shower combination. Other features include an open fireplace, air-conditioning, dining area, BBQ, fridge, separate toilet, washing machine,TV with parking at the front door.

York Cottages:
Pendle Cottage
Pendle Cottage is a lovely quaint stone cottage with a stunning view overlooking our paddocks. With two bedrooms, each equipped with queen beds, we also provide a fold away single bed and mattress in the second bedroom should you need it. The front of the cottage is adorned with a sweet cottage garden and the rear provides a grassed area to sit and watch over our alpaca's. We have recently enclosed the backyard to make it safe for dogs to stay.
Along with a quirky aqua kitchen, Pendle provides a dining area. lounge, bathroom with shower over the bath and an open fire. Our cottage is also air conditioned with parking straight out the front.
Settlers Cottage
Settlers cottage started its life as an old country barn, but has been lovingly converted into a comfortable two bedroom self-contained cottage. Dont be fooled by the rustic metal appearance, this cottage offers comfort and is equipped with everything you need to enoy a great country getaway. Settlers has a queen bed in each bedroom with the addition of a single double bunk bed in bedroom two for children. For extra people we also have a sofa bed that easily converts into a comfy double bed in the lounge area, Settlers offers a separate bath and shower, along with air conditioning and an open fire. Parking is to the side of the cottage
Burnley House:
Provides the ultimate getaway for those seeking a more grand style of accomodation. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom abode is equipped with a large dining /lounge area along with a separate lounge/ theatre room. The country kitchen links directly with the french provincial dining room, where you can gather and enjoy the luxury by the pool whilst taking in the scenery.
Many or our guests book the complete property for special occassions. Both cottages and Burnley House can accommodate 18 people, so feel free to enquire and organsie your next celebration.
Come and enjoy the fresh air, wide-open spaces, character and charm of our lovely property in the historic town of York. York Cottages and Burnley house is not a farm stay but we do have animals on our property.
Pets are welcome in our cottages and by arrangement at Burnley House. Try your hand at a game of tennis on our on-site court, or enjoy a BBQ whilst watching the sunset over the rolling hills.
